Fluffy baked pancake, perfect for breakfast or brunch, served with creamy stracciatella and smoked meat, garnished with fresh herbs.

  • Milk Căsuța Mea 3,5%
    180 ml
  • Salt
    1/2 tsp
  • Sugar
    1 tbsp
  • Flour
    100 g
  • Oil
    12 tbsp
  • Black Pepper
    to taste

Directions

  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the milk, salt, pepper, sugar, and flour. Mix well with a whisk or mixer until smooth and lump-free.
  2. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour (or overnight for an even fluffier result).
  3. Preheat the oven to 220°C. Place an empty tray with oil and let it heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Carefully remove the hot tray and quickly pour in the batter.
  5. Reduce the oven temperature to 180°C and bake for 20–25 minutes, until the pancake has risen well and is golden.
  6. Serve immediately, warm, with stracciatella (creamy cheese) and smoked meat (e.g., bacon or ham), garnished with fresh herbs.
