Directions
For the marinade, in a bowl, combine the sugar with the salt, the vinegar, the bay leaves, and the black peppercorns.
Pour the hot water, mix until the sugar and salt dissolve.
Let it cool.
Prick the tomatoes in places with a toothpick, cover with boiling water, leave for a minute, drain the water and cover with cold water.
In a large bowl, add the dill, sliced onion, and chopped garlic.
Remove the skin of the tomatoes, add them to the bowl prepared with dill, onion and garlic.
Pour the cold marinade, cover with cling film, and refrigerate for 24 hours.
WE CAN KEEP TOMATOES IN THE FRIDGE FOR UP TO 5 DAYS!
