Linguine (from Italian linguine - little tongues) is a classic Italian long dry pasta. Externally similar to spaghetti, only flattened. Linguine is also similar in shape to bavette pasta, but linguine is slightly larger. This pasta contains vitamins from groups B, E, H, PP. Linguine doesn't break during cooking. The pasta goes well with various sauces, such as traditional pesto with fresh basil, garlic and parmesan. You can serve pasta with chanterelle and cream sauce, as well as with tiger prawns and lime, mushrooms, ham, vegetables and simply in olive oil and aromatic herbs. Linguine is often added to salads.
