Directions

  1. Beat butter with cream cheese, gradually adding flour and salt.
  2. Mix and transfer to a baking sheet, wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  3. Mix the sugar with the cinnamon powder.
  4. In another bowl, mix the chopped walnuts with the dried cranberries and chocolate flakes.
  5. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, divide into 4 pieces.
  6. Roll each piece into a rectangular shape on a floured work surface.
  7. Spread the dough with 2 tablespoons of jam, sprinkle with sugar mixture, and sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of the nut mixture.
  8. Tightly roll the dough into a roll.
  9. Refrigerate the roulades for 30 minutes.
  10. Cut slices 2-3 cm thick.
  11. Transfer to 2 trays lined with baking paper, brush with beaten egg and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180 °C.
