Directions
Beat the egg yolks with sugar using a mixer until they lighten in color.
Add melted butter with milk, salt, flour, and baking powder.
Mix until smooth with no lumps.
Pour the batter into a buttered pan, 20–22 cm in diameter.
Peel the apples, remove the cores, and cut them into 8–10 roughly equal pieces.
Place the apples on top, gently pressing them into the batter.
Sprinkle the apples with 2 tablespoons of sugar and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180 °C
for 40–45 minutes.
Let the cake cool slightly before serving.
