Directions

  1. Fold 2 sheets of phyllo dough together in an accordion shape.
  2. Place the dough in a tray, bake for 10 minutes - Temperature 180 °C.
  3. Remove the tray from the oven, drizzle evenly with melted butter, return to the oven, and bake for another 10 minutes.
  4. For the cream, combine the milk, sugar, cardamom, vanilla extract with lemon and eggs.
  5. 🌱 Remove the tray from the oven, pour the cream over the dough, return to the oven and bake for another 40 minutes, until golden brown.
  6. 🌱 For the syrup, boil water, sugar, and lemon extract for 10 minutes.
  7. 🌱 Drizzle the cake, decorate with chopped pistachios. Enjoy!
