Directions

  1. In a bowl, add the butter at room temperature, the grated orange peel, and the sugar, mix until you get a fluffy texture.
  2. Add the eggs one by one, mixing vigorously, pour in the orange juice and mix, finally add the sifted flour, baking powder and cinnamon powder.
  3. Mix well and add the diced ginger.
  4. Pour the dough into a cake pan greased with butter.
  5. Place in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 40 minutes.
  6. Wait for the cake to cool completely and remove it.
  7. If desired, decorate with icing, chocolate, and fruit.
