Directions

  1. Put the raisins in a bowl and pour hot water over them. Let them soak for 20 minutes, then drain them well.
  2. In a spacious bowl, beat the eggs together with the sugar. Add the honey, melted butter, oil, and kefir, then mix until you obtain a smooth mixture.
  3. Incorporate the flour mixed with the baking powder and cinnamon. Stir until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous dough.
  4. Peel the apples, slice them thinly, and add them to the batter along with the well-drained raisins. Stir gently.
  5. Pour the batter into a buttered or parchment-lined pan. Evenly sprinkle the brown sugar on top. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40 minutes, or until it passes the toothpick test.
