Directions

  1. First of all, we need to boil the condensed milk. To do this, remove the label and place the jar in a saucepan covered with water.
  2. Simmer on low heat for 2 hours, always making sure the water covers the jar of condensed milk.
  3. For the dough, all ingredients must be at room temperature.
  4. Add everything to the bowl except butter.
  5. Knead for 7 minutes, add the room temperature butter and continue kneading for 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer the dough to a buttered bowl, cover with a towel and let it rise for 90 minutes in a warm place.
  7. Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape, 40x20 cm.
  8. Spread the condensed milk over the entire surface, sprinkle with more coarse salt if desired, and chopped roasted nuts.
  9. Roll out the dough, cut it in half horizontally, overlap both rolled slices and form a crown.
  10. In the middle we add a round shape.
  11. Cover with cling film and let rise for 80-90 minutes.
  12. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, temperature 180 °C.
  13. Remove and cool on a rack.
  14. Enjoy!
