Directions

  1. In a well-heated frying pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil and a tablespoon of butter,
  2. Add finely chopped onion and grated carrots on top.
  3. Season to taste with salt, paprika, black pepper and tomato paste, and simmer for 4-5 minutes (or until tender).
  4. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  5. Place 1 kg of minced meat in a bowl, season with salt and black pepper, add the cooled vegetable mixture.
  6. Mix everything thoroughly (put in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes).
  7. Place 1 sheet of filo dough on the work surface, spread melted butter over the entire surface, and repeat the procedure until 3 sheets are ready.
  8. Spread the meat mixture lengthwise, then roll it into a roll along the entire length.
  9. Cut the rolls into 7.5 cm thick pieces.
  10. We place our buns on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, grease them with butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  11. Place in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35–40 minutes.
  12. Serve the rolls with sour cream, adjika or your favorite sauce.
  13. Enjoy your meal!
