Creamy wheat porridge made with milk and butter. A classic, comforting breakfast that's wholesome, filling and delicious.

Directions
Wash the wheat groats thoroughly under a cold stream of water. Place them in a pot and pour in the 2 cups of water.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low.
Boil the groats over low heat, with the pot covered. Stir occasionally and let them cook until the water is completely absorbed.
Pour the previously heated milk over the boiled groats.
Add the salt and sugar. Simmer over low heat for 15–20 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent sticking.
2–3 minutes before the end, add the butter and stir until it melts completely and is fully incorporated.
Take the pot off the heat, cover it with a lid, and let the porridge rest for 15–20 minutes. During this time, it will become more tender and creamier.
Serviți terciul cald, simplu sau alături de mere caramelizate, fructe proaspete, dulceață ori nuci, după preferință.
