Directions
Beat the butter at room temperature with the sugar and a pinch of salt until the texture becomes fluffy.
Incorporate the eggs, add the vanilla extract, cream, lemon zest, and juice, and continue mixing for 4-5 minutes.
Sift the flour with the baking powder and turmeric, mixing until the ingredients combine.
Transfer the dough into a 23-24 cm diameter pan, previously greased with butter and sprinkled with flour.
Bake the cake for 50-55 minutes at 180°C.
For the glaze: mix the cream cheese with the milk and powdered sugar.
Drizzle the cake with glaze and sprinkle with decorative candies.
