Mix the warm milk with 1 teaspoon of sugar and dry yeast, cover with a towel, and let it sit for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
In another bowl, combine the flour, the remaining sugar, the salt, and the cardamom; we add the egg, the melted butter, and the activated yeast mixture, stirring with a spoon, then knead for about 10 minutes.
We cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise for 60 minutes.
Divide the dough into 64 pieces and shape them into small balls.
In another bowl, mix the brown sugar with cinnamon.
Roll each ball in melted butter, then in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Place the dough balls in a 25 cm diameter pan, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise for one hour.
Bake the rolls at 180°C for 30-35 minutes.
Turn the buns on a plate, drizzle with melted chocolate, and if desired, sprinkle with chopped nuts.
