Pancakes with strawberry sauce — soft and flavorful, perfect for a sweet breakfast or a delicious dessert.

For the dough:

  • Flour
    250 g
  • Butter Căsuța Mea 82,5%
    30 g
  • Milk Căsuța Mea Premium 3.4% - 6.0%
    500 ml
  • Sugar
    2 tbsp
  • Chicken egg
    3 pc

For the cream:

  • Strawberry
    300 g
  • Cornstarch
    1 tbsp
  • Water
    70 ml
  • Sugar
    120 g

Extra:

  • Mint
  • Sour Cream Căsuța Mea 15%

Directions

  1. In a bowl combine flour, salt and sugar.
  2. Break the eggs, pour in half the milk, and mix until there are no more lumps.
  3. Pour in the rest of the milk and mix again until the dough is smooth and shiny.
  4. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  5. Heat a frying pan over medium heat, grease with melted butter and pour 1 ladle of batter.
  6. Tilt the pan so that the bottom is evenly covered with batter.
  7. Fry 1-2 minutes on each side.
  8. Remove onto a plate and cook the remaining pancakes.
  9. For sauce: in a saucepan mix the water with the corn starch and sugar.
  10. Add the slices of strawberries, put on the hob and boil 5-7 minutes.
  11. Fold the pancakes, serve on a plate with sour cream, strawberry sauce, decorate with mint and enjoy.
  12. Enjoy!
