Directions

  1. Mix the milk together with the fresh yeast.
  2. Add the eggs together with the yolks and honey, then add the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt, mix for about 7 minutes.
  3. Next, add the walnut paste and the cream cheese, then mix.
  4. Gradually incorporate the very cold butter, kneading for 10 minutes.
  5. In the end, incorporate the chocolate drops and chopped nuts.
  6. Cover it with a towel and let it rise for 2 hours.
  7. Divide the dough into molds with a diameter of 11 cm, each weighing 450 grams, and let it rise again for 3 hours.
  8. At your request, cover the Easter Cakes with glaze and almond petals.
  9. Bake the Easter Cake for 30 minutes at 170°C. Happy Easter!
