Directions

  1. Chop the almonds and walnuts in a food processor.
  2. Beat 2 egg yolks with the sugar and vanilla essence.
  3. Pour in our melted butter and flour, mix a little more, add the nuts and mix.
  4. Roll out the dough using a rolling pin, cut out 2 circles with a diagonal of 25 cm.
  5. Add the mixture of nuts to one of the circles, leaving room for 3 cm.
  6. Brush the edges with milk and beaten egg yolk.
  7. Cover with the second layer and flatten the edge.
  8. Grease the pie with milk and beaten egg.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 C for 30 minutes.
  10. Serve the pie cold.
