  • Chicken egg

  • Cocoa Powder
    70 g
  • Salt
    1/2 tsp
  • Baking powder
    1/2 tsp
  • Dark chocolate
    200 g
  • Cherries in their own juice
    250 g

Directions

  1. Mix the butter with 100 g of sugar and melt in the microwave for about 2 minutes. Let cool.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the remaining sugar until fluffy.
  3. Pour the butter mixture into the eggs and mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently.
  6. Add 150 g of chocolate and 200 g of cherries.
  7. Pour the batter into a 20 cm pan lined with parchment paper and sprinkle the remaining cherries and chocolate on top.
  8. Bake at 160°C (fan-assisted) for 40–50 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for 1 hour.
  10. Slice and enjoy!
