    200 g
  • Butter Căsuța Mea 82,5%
    30 g

    1 pinch
  • Brown Sugar

Directions

  1. First, pass the cottage cheese through a sieve.
  2. In a bowl, sift the flour, add the baking powder with the salt, mix.
  3. Grate the very cold butter, incorporating it with our fingers into the dough.
  4. Add the cottage cheese, mix it, form the dough (wrap it in cling film, and refrigerate for 1-2 hours).
  5. For the Filling: In the bowl of a food processor, add all the ingredients and blend until you achieve a smooth texture.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangular shape measuring 45x35 cm.
  7. Add and spread the walnut filling over the entire surface, leaving about 1 cm from the edges.
  8. Roll lengthwise, cut in half lengthwise, form the braid.
  9. Transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper, bake the roll for 35 minutes at 180°C.
