Directions
In a container, pour the lukewarm milk, sugar and yeast, mix and leave for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, mix the flour with the salt, pour in the milk mixture, add the eggs and melted butter.
Mix then knead for 15-20 minutes and form a ball.
Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover with a towel and let it rise for 60 minutes in a warm place.
In another bowl, add: cream cheese, vanilla sugar, powdered sugar and cornstarch, mix until there are no lumps, then add the currants.
Roll out the dough into a 40x 60 cm rectangular shape.
Add the composition and spread gently over the entire surface.
We roll the roll and divide it into 12 equal parts.
Transfer to a baking tray, cover with polyethylene film and let it rise for another 25 minutes.
Place the tray in the preheated oven at 180 °C for 35 minutes or until nicely browned.
For the glaze, mix together: powdered sugar and milk.
Coat the buns with glaze and serve both hot and cold.
