Directions

  1. In a container, pour the lukewarm milk, sugar and yeast, mix and leave for 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour with the salt, pour in the milk mixture, add the eggs and melted butter.
  3. Mix then knead for 15-20 minutes and form a ball.
  4. Transfer the dough to a bowl, cover with a towel and let it rise for 60 minutes in a warm place.
  5. In another bowl, add: cream cheese, vanilla sugar, powdered sugar and cornstarch, mix until there are no lumps, then add the currants.
  6. Roll out the dough into a 40x 60 cm rectangular shape.
  7. Add the composition and spread gently over the entire surface.
  8. We roll the roll and divide it into 12 equal parts.
  9. Transfer to a baking tray, cover with polyethylene film and let it rise for another 25 minutes.
  10. Place the tray in the preheated oven at 180 °C for 35 minutes or until nicely browned.
  11. For the glaze, mix together: powdered sugar and milk.
  12. Coat the buns with glaze and serve both hot and cold.
  13. Enjoy your meal!
