For the dough, mix together: the milk with the egg, sugar, melted butter and vanilla extract.
Add the flour with cocoa powder and baking powder, mix.
Shape the dough, transfer it onto a floured work surface, roll it out to a thickness of 6-7 mm, cut out 6 cm circles, and place them on a baking tray. (Reshape the remaining dough, roll it out again, and cut out more circles.)
Bake for 10-15 minutes at 180 °C.
For the glaze: in a saucepan, mix the sugar with the water, and once it comes to a boil, simmer for 5 minutes.
Dip the cookies in the glaze, transfer them to a rack and let them dry for 2-3 hours or until the glaze hardens.
