For the dough:

  • Chicken egg
    1 pc
  • Sugar
    70 g
  • Sour Cream Căsuța Mea 30%
    175 g
  • Butter Căsuța Mea 82,5%
    75 g
  • Flour
    300 g
  • Baking powder
    1 tsp

For the filling:

  • Cottage Cheese Căsuța Mea 5.5%
    500 g
  • Sugar
    50 g
  • Chicken egg
    1 pc

Directions

  1. In a bowl, beat the egg together with the sugar. Add the cream and melted butter, then stir until you achieve a smooth mixture.
  2. Sift the flour together with the baking powder and incorporate them into the mixture. Knead until you obtain a soft and homogeneous dough.
  3. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave it in the fridge for 20–30 minutes.
  4. For the filling, blend the cottage cheese together with the egg and sugar until you achieve a smooth cream.
  5. Roll out the dough on a surface lightly dusted with flour and cut out about 20 circles.
  6. Put a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle, fold them, and seal the edges tightly.
  7. Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25–30 minutes, until they turn a lovely golden brown.
  8. These tender and fragrant cookies evoke the taste of childhood and the treats lovingly prepared by grandma. Enjoy!
