Turkish donuts with sesame cemetery

  • Wheat flour is white
    380 g
  • Water
    100 ml
  • Yeast
    20 g
  • White sugar
    2 tbsp
  • Honey
    1 tbsp

Directions

  1. Mix warm water with sugar, fresh yeast & sugar.
  2. Add the flour with salt, mix then knead for 10-12 minutes. We cover the dough with a towel & let it rest for 1 hour.
  3. We divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. We model the ropes with a length of 60 cm, we bend in half, so that the ends are touched, We twist the rope, we model a round & seal the edges well.
  4. For syrup we mix warm water with honey.
  5. We sink the donuts in the syrup and then roll them through the prior fried sesame.
  6. We transfer to a tray lined with baking paper, cover with a towel & let it grow 40 minutes.
  7. Bake 20-25 minutes or until beautifully browned, temperature 180 C. Enjoy your meal!
