Tortillas with mozzarella and suluguni

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix: kefir, salt, sugar, egg yolk and oil.
  2. Add the flour and baking powder, knead until the dough no longer sticks to your fingers.
  3. Cover with cling film and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. For the filling, mix: mozzarella with suluguni cheese, egg and salt to taste.
  5. Divide the filling into 4 equal pieces and shape into balls.
  6. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and form balls.
  7. Let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Roll each ball into a disk, add a ball of filling, pinch the edges together and form a pouch.
  9. Turn with the glued edge down, stretch gently with the palm of your hand, then with the rolling pin, until we obtain a disk with a diameter of 20 cm.
  10. Fry the tortillas under the lid on both sides until nicely browned.
  11. Spread the tortillas with butter while they are hot and enjoy.
  12. Enjoy!
