Contains vitamins B, C, D, iron, potassium, as well as a powerful antioxidant lycopene. Tomatoes are consumed fresh, boiled, fried, stewed, they are salted, marinated, dried (under pressure). They are used to make juice, salads, soups (gazpacho), added to borsch, main courses, pasta, pizza, alcoholic beverages, and are used as a base for vegetable stews and sauces (ketchup, passata). Stuffed tomatoes are also very popular. The average weight of one tomato is 100 grams.
